Dear friends, colleagues, partners, and fellow members,
Like many of you, I’ve spent years thinking about my voice – what I want to say, how I want to show up, and where SplitX fits into it all.
SplitX, as many of you know, is a legacy project. It will continue to grow and evolve on its own path.
But I also want to talk to you about something more personal.
Something that’s been quietly shaping how I work, live, and lead.
It’s called fjaka.
Or as I’m now calling it: Fyaka.
So, why “Fyaka”?
Fjaka is a Croatian term embodying a relaxed state of body and mind, often described as the “art of doing nothing” or being in a “day-dreamy state.”
It’s about slowing down. Not out of laziness, but out of intention.
Being here. Now.
The Fyaka lifestyle has deeply shaped how I show up – or myself, my work, and others.
And now, I want to share that with you.
What is ‘Got Fyaka?’
Each week, I’ll drop something into your inbox that feels like a deep breath. A mindset shift. A habit. A provocation. Or just a simple reminder to pause, breathe, and enjoy life a little more.
And yes – I went with “Fyaka” instead of “Fjaka.”
Same spirit, easier to say and remember.
Why follow?
(ok, slight brag alert)
Because I’ve found a way to stay energized, focused, and joyful – without burning out.
And I believe that’s worth sharing.
Over the years, I’ve:
- Logged 8,000+ workouts without losing momentum or motivation
- Had less than 1% downtime – rarely sick, always in motion
- Measured a biological age of 24 at 38, thanks to rhythm, not hacks
- Spent nearly a decade between Split,Croatia and Silicon Valley, building a $3.2B global leadership network
- Stayed in shape, in flow, and in a good mood – through chaos, calm, and everything in between.
I’ve seen what works.
I’ve seen what burns people out.
And I’ve chosen a different path.
Got Fyaka? is where I share that path – not to tell you what to do,
but to help you find your own rhythm.
This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing it better. With less stress, more stillness, and real joy.
What to Expect
- One short email each week – likely Thursdays
- An unfiltered look at the habits and mindsets that keep my energy high and burnout low
- Honest takes on focus, discipline, calm, and creativity
- The occasional question that lingers with you all week
- Sometimes we’ll go deep. Sometimes we’ll just breathe.
How does this connect to SplitX?
Fjaka has quietly inspired much of what we’ve built at SplitX.
While Got Fyaka is its own thing, you might see a SplitX update here and there – if it truly fits.
Otherwise, the SplitX newsletter will continue on its own rhythm.
That’s it for now.
Thanks for being here at the start of this. I’m genuinely excited to share this journey with you.
If you’ve got thoughts, hit reply – I’m listening.
And for now: take a break, breathe, and enjoy doing a little less.
Truly yours, this moment.
