Stillness isn’t absence.
It’s what gives everything else its shape.
Last week, I shared what Fyaka is.
This week, I want to share what it does.
Most of us have been taught that slowing down means falling behind.
That rest is a luxury. That doing nothing… is a waste of time.
But here’s what I’ve learned – especially in the moments where everything felt urgent:
Stillness isn’t absence.
It’s what gives everything else its shape.
A long time ago, I started blocking out time to do nothing.
No pings. No pressure. Just space.
At first, something like this might feel pointless.
But that empty space can become the place where everything clicks.
Ideas land. Focus returns. Energy resets.
It turns out, stillness doesn’t slow you down.
It sharpens you.
This Week’s Thought to Carry:
What’s trying to reach you – but can’t break through the noise?
Until next Thursday,
Leave a little space in your week that isn’t filled with doing.
That’s where the good stuff grows.
Truly yours, this moment.
