Dear friend, I’d love to share a thought experiment that stuck with me.
Imagine this:
You’re lying on your deathbed, 50 years from now.
Your breath is shallow. You know this is the end.
Every opportunity is gone. No more sunrises. No more dancing in the kitchen.
No more late-night laughs or holding hands with someone you love.
This is it.
Then suddenly – a flash of light.
An angel appears and offers you one chance to go back.
Not to change anything. Just to live today again.
And poof.
You’re back.
In your body.
It’s today.
So now what?
Would you check your phone every 4 minutes?
Would you rush through breakfast or brush off a conversation with someone you love?
Would you let stress lead the way?
Or would you pause, soften, notice.
Would you feel the sun on your skin a little longer?
Would you listen – really listen – when your child or partner speaks?
Here’s the thing:
This is your second chance.
You’ve been gifted this day, and what you do with it is yours to shape.
You don’t need an angel.
You just need presence.
One Question to Carry With You:
What if today was your second chance – how would you show up for it?
Truly yours, this moment.
