Dear friend,
There are only two emails left this year.
This newsletter started nine months ago, and from the very beginning my main intention was simple – to inspire, by example, as many people as possible.
This fyaka way of living has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
And this year, more than ever, it helped me stay healthy
through all the ups and downs – personal and professional.
Which tells me that what I’m doing here has meaning.
At no point did I ever think I had discovered some great secret.
I didn’t.
What I did do, and have done for many years,
was stay close to a few simple things, long enough to get good at them.
And two of those things have carried me through almost everything:
gratitude and consistency.
To my core, I believe these are real superpowers.
Gratitude is the foundation of everything.
Gratitude is also presence.
And at the heart of fyaka, there is gratitude.
Because only when we truly stop, slow down, and stay with the moment,
do we begin to notice the small things around us.
Only then can we take that deep breath
and become aware of what we already have.
My dear friend – gratitude is everything.
From there, whatever we choose to do, the point is to stay consistent.
Consistency reflects our spirit, our strength, our integrity.
As we approach the holidays, I just want to leave you with a simple reminder:
Take a break. Pause. Be present – and gratitude will meet you there.
Happy holidays,
and many fyaka moments.
Armando
