You felt it before.

A quiet moment when your body relaxes, your mind slows down, and nothing feels urgent.
You’re not escaping life, you’re fully in it.

In the Mediterranean, we have a word for this: Fyaka.

Fyaka is a state of intentional presence.
It’s the ability to slow down without guilt, to rrpause without falling behind.
Not laziness. It’s rhythm – the kind that lets you stay clear, energized, and grounded in a fast world.

This isn’t something someone invented.
It’s a way of living that grew out of the Mediterranean, practiced and passed down for generations as a natural way of moving through life.

The good news is, you don’t need to live there to live this way.
You can bring it into your daily life, wherever you are.

Let me help you with that.

Rooted in presence. Building ventures. Bringing people together.

Hi, I’m Armando Matijevich. I come from a perfect little corner of the Mediterranean called Split- right on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve been lucky to work between Silicon Valley and Europe, on ideas that connect people, grow communities, and spark new ways of thinking. I’ve built companies, raised funding, hosted events, and shared space with brilliant minds.

Through it all, I’ve stayed committed to one thing:
Building with energy and protecting the health and rhythm that make it possible.

Why follow:

  • Logged 8,000+ workouts – without losing momentum or motivation
  • <1% downtime – rarely sick, always in motion
  • Biological age measured at 24 at 38
  • A decade between Split, Croatia and Silicon Valley, building a $3.2B global leadership network

Ritual, Rhythm, and Rest

Beyond building and leading, I’ve always believed in moving well, living slow, and staying grounded.

One of my favorite fyaka rituals is picigin – a traditional game we play in the shallow sea. There are no teams, no goals, no winners. Just a small ball, a few friends, and one shared mission: keep it in the air.

Every day at noon, when I’m home, I’m at my Firule Bay – playing this uniquely local game.
Just presence, movement, laughter, and memories made at the beach – that is fyaka in practice.

A weekly permission slip

Got Fyaka is an extension of how I live and lead.

It’s a place to explore:

  • how to stay ambitious without losing yourself and your health
  • how to manage energy, not just time
  • how to build, think, and decide with more clarity and less noise.

Every Thursday, I send one short email.
A reflection, a reminder, or a small perspective shift. Nothing to optimize.Nothing to prove.
Just permission to pause.

If this resonates, you’re exactly who it’s for!
Give it a try.

In a world that moves fast and always wants more, I choose stillness, presence, and health.
