Dear friend,
A short one this week.
Last week we talked about how presence can’t be forced.
We create the conditions, and that increases the probability.
Here’s what I noticed about those conditions.
Coffee without the phone. A meal without the clock. Fewer interruptions.
None of them add anything.
Every single one works because it removes something.
We keep trying to gather our way to presence but it works the other way.
Less noise. Less feed. Less “just checking.”
Subtracting is a skill.
You don’t declutter your life once and stay clear forever.
You do it like a rep and it compounds over time.
Small, repeated, deliberate.
That’s how the environment gets built and that’s how you make it yours.
This Week’s Cue to Pause
Presence is subtraction. Practice the removal.
Truly yours, this moment.
