I’m Going Off the Grid

sent by Armando Matijevich │

Dear friend,

It’s hard to describe the pleasure of having this opportunity to distill my knowledge and philosophy every week and have you read it.

I believe every human being has a gift for something. Maybe mine is the ability to create the conditions for presence deliberately…or at least, the strong belief I have around it keeps taking me closer.

As part of my usual cadence, it’s time for my annual off-the-grid period.

Every year, people ask me the same questions. How can you disappear for that long? What if something happens? What if you miss something?

My answer is always the same. I’m prioritizing what matters most: my ability to remain healthy enough to enjoy life and be fully there with the people I love.

Screens have slowly become the lens through which we experience the world. We work through them, communicate through them, learn through them, and often see life through them.

But our eyes are the most precious screens we possess.

Starting August 8th and continuing through September 1st, my screens will be off. I’ll be somewhere around the islands, having the fyaka time of my life.

I’ll be back in your inbox the first week of September.

Much love!

In the meantime, until the new website rolls out, you can find all past editions at https://gotfyaka.com/
Feel free to share it with any friends who could use a little help being more present.

Truly yours, this moment.

Armando

About the newsletter

Fyaka is the Croatian word for being fully present, relaxed, and unbothered by the rush of the world. It’s not laziness – it’s rhythm. And it’s changed the way I live, work, and lead.

Every week, I send one short email to help you reconnect with that space inside yourself. It’s about doing less, feeling more, and staying energized without the burnout.

This newsletter is where I share what makes it possible.
