Authenticity can’t be copied

sent by Armando Matijevich │

Dear friend,

At SXSW, I had a conversation about people copying others.

Voice. Tone. Even exact lines.
And now AI just made it all easier.

It happened to me too.

Some of it was obvious and blatant.
And I used to get pissed.

Until I realized something that changed everything:

Authenticity can’t be copied.

Not really.

You can fake it for a while.
You can look the part.
You can even convince people short-term.

But you can’t sustain it.

Because at some point, reality shows up.

You run out of depth.
You run out of truth.
You run out of yourself.

And that’s where it breaks.

Time takes care of that.

Time filters out the ones who are building something real from the ones who are just playing the part.

So now?

I don’t react.

Because reacting means I’m playing the same game.
And I’m not interested in that game.

I stay on my path.
At my own pace. Because what’s real doesn’t need to compete.
It just needs to last.

Time is your best friend. It’s already working for you.

Truly yours, this moment.
